Thursday, October 18, 2018
On Monday, October 22, 2018, voting locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eligible voters can vote at any one location in their ward. Details on voting locations are available online on our Elections page and are also listed on voter cards.
When you go to vote, bring one acceptable piece of identification that has your name and qualifying address on it in order to receive a ballot. Eligible voters are also encouraged to bring along their voter card to avoid delays.
It’s not too late to check. Use our voter look up tool on elections.oakville.ca and easily add your name to the list if needed.
If you haven’t received your voter card yet, you can contact the town’s Clerk’s department by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your ward may have changed! Oakville’s new seven-ward boundary system is being used to conduct the municipal election and will officially be in place on December 1, 2018. To accommodate the new Ward 7, which captures neighbourhoods north of Dundas Street, adjustments have been made to all existing ward boundaries except Ward 3. Visit our Oakville Election Candidate List, Voting Locations and Ward map to confirm the ward you live in. It will also be listed on your voter card.
All voting locations will be physically accessible. Town Hall will have accessible voting equipment and will be open to all voters regardless of where they reside in the municipality.
